The Ministry of Energy and Research and the Research Council of Norway had a conference the 6th of December for launching EU’s Horizon 2020, starting from January 2014.
Examples of our programs:
Cleantuesday – one Tuesday every month OREEC invites to an informal happening, where start-ups, investors, industry and other actors give speeches on topics.
Through matchmaking OREEC is connecting different actors. This opens up possibilities for further collaboration and business development.
Increasing the recruit-
ment is important for the cleantech sectors. Focusing on increased collaboration and mobility between industry, edu-
cation and research aims to mobilize young people to choose renewable energy and environmental technologies as a future career.
Some of our projects:
OREEC is launching a project on Urban Energy in February 2014 and invites companies, research institutes and other organizations to be partners.
The H2OSL Concept Study is based on the fact that the Gardermoen region in Northern Akershus, with Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL) and major logistics businesses, seem to be an attractive location for the use of hydrogen for transportation.
IFE and OREEC initiated a project in 2013 together with other industrial partners, research institutions, education and organizations like Norwegian Solar Energy Association and ZERO.
